How does the bypass rake work on a Perfobask in Tank
Under Normal Conditions, the influent enter the Perfobask unit through the inlet
passes through the perforated basket and exits the unit through the outlet
If the influent level reaches level 1, it is in overflow condition and the influent it overflows into the bypass rake box.
The influent passes through the manual bar screen and re-enters the tank behind the perforated basket and exits through outlet 2

Special execution: Some customers request the bypass overflow to exit out of a separate outlet or even to provide a separate inlet to the overflow box. In these cases we can provide the bypass in special execution.

It is also possible to supply the unit with an overflow bypass without manual bar screen. In this case it is an overflow flange mounted on the side of the unit.
