Remote Connection

In order to satisfy customer’s necessities and in order to help at the best on the resolution of

possible issues, it is possible to activate two different systems for the remote connection: VNC

and VPN. The first one allows to “replicate” the touch screen on another support (PC or

smartphone) in order to permit the control and functioning remotely (in own company network);

the second one allows the connection to CBB Decanter’s servers for remote assistance. The

activation of such systems is possible only if those services have been requested during the

phase of order confirmation.

Although these services are active, for security reasons it is not possible to enable or to

stop by remote working cycle of the machine or the single utilities

In order to enable the VNC system and the VPN system is necessary to make the connected popup

appear (see “Start-up of the machine”). Here below, the explanations of the symbols on the

pages of the touch screen

1.     Network IP: IP address of the touch screen has visualized (only if it connects to the web net). A configuration of the web net is necessary (for the configuration, follow the specific instructions or contact CBB technicians)

2.     VPN IP: IP address of the VPN connectionhas visualized; if the address is not visualized, connection to CBB server is not present

3.     Clicking on the button, the function is enabled. With the enabled function, a green little point is visualized

4.     Clicking on the button, the function is disabled.

5.     Buttons for the data exportation (for use contact CBB technicians)

6.     The Button for the update of touch screen program (for use contact CBB technicians)

For the use of VNC system, once it is enabled, it is necessary to put on the visualization support

(PC or smartphone), IP address of the touch screen, gate 5900 (default) and then insert 098

(default)
