How to remove the stator from the rotor on a progressive cavity pump.
Dismantling pipe-connection – stator –
pump body
Make sure the equipment is disconnected from power and hydraulic connections.
a) Unscrew the two nuts and washers (20 e 21 fig. 2-9) that
fasten the pipe-connection.
b) Remove the pipe-connection (4 fig. 2-9).
c) Unscrew the two tie-rods and remove them (19 fig. 2-9).
d) Extract the stator (3 fig. 2-9), twisting it in the opposite direction of that of the working pump keeping the drive shaft
still with a 41 mm forked spanner.
Use a band wrench if the stator is tuck on to the rotor.
e) Remove the dowel screw with the cylindrical head extremity
(series E150 ÷ 210) with conical extremity (series E 50 ÷ 100)
from the drive shaft (15 fig. 3-9).
