How to Replace Perfordrum wheels

FIRST THING: SAFETY. SHUT DOWN THE POWER.

REF. Serial 2388

1ST STEP: UNBOLT TANK CONVERS AND REMOVE THEM

2ND STEP: UNSCREW THE THREE SCREWS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE TANK

3RD STEP: HOOK THE TWO LIFTING POINTS TO CHAINS IN ORDER TO LIFT THEM UP. SUPPORT THE MACHINE DURING THE WHOLE MAINTENANCE OPERATION.

4TH STEP: SIGHTLY LOSEN THE BOLT ON BOTH SIDES OF SUPPORT LEGS TO LET THE PERFODRUM PIVOT UNTIL IT REACHES THE REQUIRED HEIGHT, AND THEN TIGHT BOLTS BACK TO SECURE THE UNIT.

THIS SHOULD BE THE RESULT OF ABOVE LISTED STEPS.

5TH STEP: REMOVE THE SCREW THE AT THE CENTER OF WHEEL , PULL OUT THE WHEEL AND BEARING AND REPLACE WITH THE NEW ONES. FINALLY, INSERT THE SCREW AGAIN AND TIGHTEN WELL TO SECURE THE WHEEL. FOLLOW THIS PROCEDURE FOR BOTH WHEELS OF THE DRUM.

BEFORE CLOSING THE COVERS, CHECK THAT THE MACHINE OPERATES CORRECTLY (DRUM AND WHEELS ROTATION). THEN, FOLLOW ALL STEPS BACKWARD TO REACTIVATE THE UNIT TO ITS NORMAL OPERATION.
