How to run routine Maintenance on DSS-T in Tank Screen Screw

1. BRUSHES REPLACEMENT
Disconnect the Main Power Supply
  1. Make sure the machine cannot start itself for any reason.
  2. Disconnect the motor wires and all the hydraulic connections.
  3. Open all the cover and clean with plenty of water.
  4. Unscrew the bolts of the collar of the foot.
  5. Hang the screw screen from the bolt eyes with suitable lifting equipment certificates (A) arranged so that it allows the screen to be lifted with an angle of about 35 ° with the ground and (B) place the screw screen horizontally on the ground.
  6. Unscrew the bolts of the brushes as shown in the figure below.
  7. Mount the new brushes and tight the bolts.
  8. Follow the instruction in the reverse order to mount the machine again





2.SCREEN BASKET REPLACEMENT
Disconnect the Main Power Supply
  1. Make sure the machine cannot start itself for any reason.
  2. Disconnect the motor wires and all the hydraulic connections.
  3. Open all the covers and clean with plenty of water.
  4. Unscrew the bolts of the collar of the foot.
  5. Hang the screw screen from the bolt eyes with suitable lifting equipment certificates (A) arranged so that it allows the screen to be lifted with an angle of about 35 ° with the ground and (B) place the screw screen horizontally on the ground.
  6. Unscrew the screen basket bolts and take them off.
  7. Put on the new screen basket.
  8. Follow the reverse instructions to mount the machine again inside the tank.Perform a 2 minutes test checking that there are no unusual noises or vibrations.

3. SLIDING BARS REPLACEMENT
Disconnect the Main Power Supply
  1. Make sure the machine cannot start itself for any reason.
  2. Disconnect the motor wires and all the hydraulic connections.
  3. Open all the covers and clean with plenty of water.
  4. Unscrew the bolts of the collar of the foot.
  5. Hang the screw screen from the bolt eyes with suitable lifting equipment certificates (A) arranged so that it allows the screen to be lifted with an angle of about 35 ° with the ground and (B) place the screw screen horizontally on the ground.
  6. Unscrew the screen basket bolts and take them off (see the previous paragraph).
  7. Unscrew the bolts connecting the screw with the shaft as shown in the figure below (during this step the machine must be horizontal: if it is not, once the screw bolts are unlocked, the screw may fall; it’s dangerous for the operators).

·       Take off the screw.

·       Unscrew the bolts connecting the gear-motor with the plate of the discharging modulus as shown below.


·       Put on the new gear-motor

·       Follow the reverse order of instruction to mount the machine.
